Today RA Ombudsman Larissa Alaverdyan met the head of the Democratization administration of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Vladimir Shkolnikov.

Referring to the issues about the Institution Mrs. Alaverdyan mentioned about the law level of awareness of the population about human rights especially in rural places, and the absence of the regional representatives of the Ombudsman.

The sides exchanges thought about the procedure of appointing a new Ombudsman in case of the positive result of the Constitutional referendum on November 27. Larissa Alaverdyan mentioned that the offers about the procedure have been represented to the RA NA.
