Tigran Torosyan, the sole candidate in the NA Speaker’s elections was elected the NA President.

The results of the elections were made public at 5:33PM. 97 deputies participated in the balloting and 94 of them voted for Tigran Torosyan, 1 against and two ballot-papers were considered invalid.

By the way, the only deputy against was Hakob Hakobyan. His step was determined by the fact that he put forward the candidacy of Galoust Sahakyan for the post of the NA Speaker.
