During last several months performances, poster contests, intellectual games and other events, aimed at increasing human rights awareness, have been organized in 24 communities of Syunik marz by the World Vision within its Sisian Regional Development program.
On 18 May, in Sisian, student councils of Angeghakot, Shamb, Khot and Ashotavan community schools, who were acknowledged as the best, showed their performances targeting violations of human rights.
The students reflected on freedom of religion, belief and faith, children's rights, fair court procedures, right to work and other rights. They presented cases on violence, discrimination, negligence, corruption, and abuse in working relations.
