The RA Government has stated its negative opinion on the Heritage Party's proposals to amend the law on temporary disability benefit. At its Jan. 13 sitting the Government will discuss the issue.

The Heritage Party proposes the payment of full amount of maternity benefits rather than 70% of the amount. The party also proposes the payment of full amount of maternity benefits in case of preterm delivery.

The Government points out that the amendments require additional funds. Moreover, considering social discontent, the Government plans to submit legislations.
