Third point of Article 7 of the decision of the National Assembly "On the amnesty" was applied to the citizen of France Sarkis Hatspanyan, who was sentenced for false crime reporting. Due to this the remaining part of the sentence has been shortened by 1/3, i.e. 10 months and 28 days, thus 2 years, 7 months and 2 days of imprisonment is left.

Arsen Babayan, the press secretary of the head of the Penitentiary Department of RA Ministry of Justice, has pointed out in the interview with us that the question of Sarkis Hatspanyan's release on parole may be discussed during the session of the Committee of Penitentiary institution in November.
