Court of first instance of Kentron and Norq-Marash districts has declined the motion of the defendant to change Tigran Arakelyan's preventive measure of arrest to the bail. All deputies of "Heritage" party of the National Assembly have submitted such a request to the court and presented necessary guarantees.

Pre-trial investigative body explained refusal of changing the preventive measure by their usual formulation "he can challenge examination and impose pressure on not-disclosed and already disclosed persons".

Tigran Arakelyan's state of health is assessed as "extremely bad" by his attorney Varduhi Elbakyan. "He has both problems with head and sight, and needs a serious treatment", said the attorney.

28 year old opposition activist told the attorney that these pains are the result of beatings on his head on the day of the incident. Tigran submitted the same types of complaints about his state of health to the members of the public group of observers monitoring penitentiary institutions two days ago. According to the group Tigran obviously has serious problems connected with his health.
