Editor-in-chief of “Haykakan Dzamanak” newspaper was arrested

Today the editor-in-chief of “Haykakan Dzamanak” newspaper Nikol Pashinyan appeared to RA General Prosecutor’s office, from where he was taken to Kentron police station. Three attorneys accompanied Pashinyan. After questioning him the law enforcement bodies took him to the isolator of National Security Service.

On June 24 Nikol Pashinyan released a statement informing that he will appear until July 31 but the exact date was not mentioned. The editor-in-chief of “Haykakan Dzamanak” newspaper spent in hiding more than 1 year and 3 months.
