Starting from September 2005, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and PH International have been presenting the Community Connections program in Armenia and selecting candidates for professional development in the United States. Ten participants will be selected within the professional theme "Independent Practice by Emerging Legal Professionals", preferably owners of recently established and officially registered individual law firms (with history of 2-4 years) or sole practitioners, who are involved in the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia, Young Advocates Committee and the Public Defenders Office operating in the Chamber of Advocates.
Candidates will be selected by means of open competition. Professional development will last three weeks (July 8- 29, 2010).
