Press Conference of International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH)
On June 25-28 delegation of the International Federation for human rights (FIDH) will arrive in Yerevan. The delegation is comprised of the President of the FIDH Ms. Souhayr Belhassen, Executive Director Mr. Antoine Bernard, Communication Director Mrs. Isabelle Chebat, as well as Eastern Europe, and Central Asia Desk Director Mrs. Alexandra Koulaeva. The delegation will have a number of meetings within the framework of the preliminary arrangements of FIDH 37th Congress that will take place in Yerevan in April, 2010.
On June 26, on the International day for victims of torture, International Federation of human rights invites the mass media to the press conference.
"Protection of human rights' defenders" annual report 2009, where a part is devoted to Armenia, will be presented at the press conference. Participants of the press conference will also present a document on administration of justice in the Republic of Armenia.
Press Conference will take place on June 26, at 11:30 in the hall of Satenik, Marriott hotel.
