Armenia ranks 76th in UN Human Development Report

The top 10 countries in United Nations Development Program's (UNDP) 2010 Annual Human Development report are Norway, 
Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Ireland, Lichtenstein, the Netherlands, Canada, Sweden and Germany.

The report covers data on the living standards, social security, healthcare, education and cultural development, crime rate, environmental protection and people's participation in decision making processes in world's different states. 

Among the CIS countries, high level of human development was recorded in Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Ukraine, which rank as the 61st, 65th, 66th, 65th and 69th countries respectively.

Georgia comes as the 74th state in the list. Armenia is on the 76th position. 

Turkmenistan and Fiji, appearing on the 87th and 88 positions respectively, top the list of states with average level of human development.

In the list comprising 169 countries, 41 have low level of human development. Niger, Congo and Zimbabwe appear in bottom positions.
