The Defense Ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic dismisses Azerbaijani reports on a ceasefire violation by the Armenian side.

"As usual, Azeri media circulated false reports saying Armenia violated ceasefire on January 25 and opened fire in the direction of Aghdam. It is Azerbaijan that violated ceasefire, firing at NKR positions 14 times. Fortunately, no causalities are reported from the Armenian side," said Spokesman for the NKR Defense Army Senor Hasratyan.

According to Azeri media, NKR servicemen opened fire in the direction of Aghdam, wounding a an Azeri woman and an officer.
