On the 14^th of October  the presentation and discussion of the report "Release of Prisoners on Compassionate Grounds in Armenia: Legislative and Practical Problems" will take place.

The presentation summarizes the legislative and practical problems related to early release of prisoners on the ground of serious illness. The research was conducted by Civil Society Institute NGO.

The speakers will present the procedures with which the institution of release as a result of serious illness works in Armenia. The revealed problems will be discussed.

Government officials from the related field, as well as representatives from international organizations, diplomatic missions and local and international NGOs will be invited. The Civil Society Institute will also present suggestions of reforms in the area.
