On the 14^th of October, the Court of First Instance (judge: Tatul Poghosyan) sentenced husband of Zaruhi Petrosyan, who died as a result of domestic violence, for 10 years of imprisonment.

He is convicted by 14^th point of 2^nd part of 112 article of  RA Criminal Code, i.e. intentional damage to health (6-10 years of imprisonment). The court defined the maximum of the punishment, The defender of Sarkisov Jora Harutyunyan plans to appeal the verdict at the  Appellate Court.
