Court of Cassation returned the appeals of "Yerkir" newspaper and RA National Assembly MP T. Arzakantsyan.

The sides appealed to the RA Court of Cassation against the decision of the 24th of August, according to which the court rejected their appeals and left the initial decision of the Court of First Instance in force.

As a reminder, the Court of First Instance partially satisfied the appeal of Tigran Arzakantsyan against ''Yerkir'' newspaper, obliging the newspaper to pay 288 thousand AMD, of which 200 thousand is intended for the defaming word ''cub'' addressed to the MP, and 88 thousand AMD for litigation costs. The court also obliged the newspaper to publish the final part of the decision in the newspaper.
