Two Sessions in Four Months: What is the Committee Waiting for?

A committee composed of 10 experts was formed by the Minster of Health order of 10.09.2010. The committee has to study the two forensic medical conclusions and other evidence to find out the real cause of death. However, Tigran's parents say that in 4 months the committee held only 2 sessions and is suspiciously delaying the conclusion.
"They have invited 10 highly qualified experts and cannot find the cause of death for 4 months. We were present at the November 16 session. We presented 16 questions to the committee. They avoided to answer, they didn't answer a single question. There were things that we didn't know and wanted to get answers," Gohar Sargsyan, Tigran's mother says.
Tigran's father, Suren Ohanjanyan, says that on December 14, when they went to the Defense Ministry Investigation Service to get information about their son's case, they met one of the committee members - forensic doctor Ghambaryan from the Republican forensic medical scientific-practical center. "I stopped him and asked if there was any news about our case. He said: "I don't know, I can't say anything." I asked him what he was doing there [at the investigation service]. He said that the investigator had invited him. Until the case is finished, until there is a final conclusion, the investigator has no right to invite anyone separately, to have a separate meeting. The next day we met the head of the service and told him about it. He called the investigator who said he had not invited him. If he hadn't invited him, why should the forensic doctor have come to see him? In short, we have seen and now see such things that we do not believe that our son's case will be revealed," M.Ohanjanyan says.
"I have demanded a 100 per cent forensic medical conclusion; I don't need any blurred, false, defective conclusion. We demand from Armenian authorities - solve the cases of our children's murders, how long can you torture the parents? There is no punishment in the Republic of Armenia, there is only crime," Gohar Sargsyan says.
"The committee is waiting for instructions from the investigators - what they will say, what the instructions will be, to come to some common denominator, to say the same thing. That is why they delay the case so long. That is our supposition," this is the conclusion Tigran's parents have come to.
