YEREVAN, OCTOBER 21, ARMENPRESS: Cooperation agreement on ensuring rights of ethnic minorities will be signed between the governments of Armenia and Belarus. Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan said today at the session of the government that the document has already been agreed with the Belarusian side. 

The agreement intends implementation of joint programs and activities. 

According to the 1999 population census in Belarus, the number of Armenians there is10 000 and according to the non-official information 30 000. In Armenia 170 Belarusians are living.
