Reminder of the Human Rights Defender: 49 Days Ago He Addressed the Minister of Justice

HRD Karen Andreasyan addressed in September the Minister of Justice Hrair Tovmasyan with his report about subjecting three Judges to disciplinary sanction.
As a reminder, three citizens had applied to Human Rights Defender, being sure that Judges had treated them unfairly. The Defender decided to take the three complaints mentioned out of many other similar ones, because, according to his assessment, in these cases Judges' ventured obvious and gross violations of Law related to the cases mentioned.
The Defender had mentioned the three Judges in his reports addressed to the Disciplinary Committee of the RA Council of Justice and informed the public about his reports. This was immediately followed by public "attacks" on the Human Rights Defender's Institution initiated on behalf of various bodies of the Judicial System in the form of misinformation, misleading citations brought from legal acts, illegal "appeals" and ignorant accusations.
After getting no response for 49 days from the Minister of Justice Hrair Tovmasyan, Karen Andreasyan decided to make a public reminder.
"I am sure, that in case the bodies instigating disciplinary proceedings, including You, are fair, and afterwards at least 7 people, i.e. majority of those 13, are fair as well, such an important system of punishing judges will become fair. In that case, Judges will be fair in all their decisions, being afraid of a legal and fair punishment. In that case, every single state official will be fair in his/her actions, fearing of a fair Judge. And for the time being, until this chain of justice fully functions, people are those who are afraid when dealing with a Judge", said the Defender in his address.
