According to the  central information department of the office of the Artsakh republic president, president Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on awarding.
According to the decree for personal bravery shown during the realization of military tasks infantry platoon commander of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army's a certain military unit, senior lieutenant Hovik Soukiasyan was awarded with the medal "For Service in Battle" posthumously.
