Judge of the general jurisdiction court of the Kentron and Nork-Marash districts of Yerevan Edik Avetisyan denied Mariam Sukhudyan's appeal today.

The young activist demands ridding the investigators' decision and mandating the instigation of a criminal case against two investigators who had brought up a case against Mariam under the article of false treachery.

The article is related to the criminal case brought up against Mariam Sukhudyan after the announcements regarding special school N 11 in Nubarashen.

Mariam Sukhudyan had appealed to the Special Investigative Service to file a case against the investigators, but a decision on denying the case was taken on 4 September 2010.

Mariam's advocate Nona Galstyan mentions that if the real culprit, schoolteacher and child molester Levon Avagyan has already been punished and it has been proven that Mariam is innocent, whoever has brought up a wrong charge against her must be punished.

"I must say that there were all grounds established by the law to rid the investigator's decision and for the court to oblige the preliminary inquiry body to instigate a criminal case," said the advocate.

The advocate also informed that she and her client are going to appeal the decision.
