The Azeri Captive in Armenia Wrote a Letter to His Mother. He Has No Problems

The Sergeant of Azeri army Anar Khanbabaoghu Gajiev, who is currently in Armenia, wrote a letter to his family.  This was reported to APA news agency by Nailya Mamedova, mother of the captive.

She announced that the letter was given to her by the representatives of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) in Azerbaijan. The following was written in the letter. "Hello Mother, everything is okay with me, don't worry about me. My warm regards to our neighbors and relatives. See you soon."

Mamedova also mentioned that  according to the representatives of  the ICRC, her son has no health problems and everything is okay with him.

As a reminder, Anar Gajiev had crossed the Armenian border on May 10, 2009 and had been captured by Armenian soldiers.

On September 13, 2010 Azeri soldiers had captured civilian Manvel Saribekyan, however, after a month he died in unknown circumstances.
