On May 25-26 in Yerevan international conference on the 5th anniversary of the establishment of Human Rights Defender institution in Armenia took place.

A number of ombudsmen from different countries, representatives of international organizations, heads of diplomatic delegations, international experts, representatives of non-governmental organizations and other participants were present at the conference.

The main topics of the conference were rights to freedom of expression and fair trial.
