“There is an impression that Armen Harutyunyan is not aware of the situation,” Robert Kocharyan has said at today’s press conference, covering the opinion of the RA ombudsman in relation with the incidents on March 1.

The president has mentioned that, while making a statement, one should remember whether he is a citizen of Strasbourg, or Armenia. He has also added that the re-publication of the statement of ombudsman in the foreign mass media creates a “bad background” for the country.

The president has considered the appointment of the incumbent ombudsman as his least successful solution of personnel policy.
