Conflict Resolution and Peace-Building Resource Center was opened in Yerevan with support of the UK NGO International Alert in May 2005. The Center aims at starting process of discussion on conflict and conflict resolution by civil society leaders in Armenia, and increasing the role of civil society in conflict resolution. The Center will provide civil society leaders with opportunity to exchange their knowledge and skills on conflict resolution, to use resources of the Center, i.e. books on conflict and conflict resolution and Internet, and to participate in the discussions organized around conflict over Nagorny Karabakh.

The Resource Center is run by the Civil Society Institute in cooperation with Armenian Center of Political and International Studies with support of the Council composed of civil society leaders of Armenia.
