The Chamber of Advocates initiated disciplinary proceedings against lawyer Arthur Grigoryan, who demanded 18 million AMD from "Hraparak" newspaper as a compensation for publishing defaming comments of the readers in their website.

As www.hra.am was informed by the Chamber of Advocates, the reason for instituting disciplinary proceedings was the content of the comments, according to which one of the citizens lost his right to appeal because of Arthur Grigoryan, and the other citizen was complaining that the lawyer took 600 thousand AMD for solving the problem through motions.

The Chamber of Advocates will study the case and in 2 months it will be clear whether or not the content of comments correspond to the reality. In case it corresponds, Arthur Grigoryan will be subjected to disciplinary sanctions.
