Conference Entitled Social State: Concept, Armenian Reality and Perspectives

A conference entitled Social State: Concept, Armenian Reality and Perspectives
is organizing jointly by the Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC) - Armenia
and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) – Armenia. This conference will
take place on February 24 - 26, 2006, in Tsakhkadzor, Armenia.

The goal of this two-day conference is to promote a better understanding of the
social state and its system of administration in Armenia.

The conference will serve as a medium for German and Armenian participants to
discuss more specifically on the following: the concept of the social state,
current relative realities in Armenia, and people’s expectations. The conference
will host several representatives from the Armenian legislative, executive and
judicial departments.

The conference will include three panels of discussions each of which will touch
upon four selected papers.

We invite social science scholars, researchers and post-graduate students who
have a keen interest, understanding and knowledge on the related topic of this
conference. We also welcome representatives from research institutions, think
tanks and NGOs.
