Nerses Nazaryan's Official Omission is Disputed in the Court

Today, at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts, hearing headed by Judge Edik Avetisyan was continued on the case of NA Deputy from the Heritage political party Zaruhi Postanjian against the RA Police Head of Yerevan city department Nerses Nazaryan regarding his official omission.
At the beginning of the court session, Zaruhi Postanjian's lawyer Vahe Grigoryan, called the court's attention to the fact that there is no RA state flag and emblem at the court, which is violation of the law. Judge Edik Avetisyan agreed that the court session is taking place with some legal faults.
The Judge interrupted the session with some displeasure and announced that the court participants should wait until another court room is found for the session.
During the court investigation the lawyer told that the letter of RA Police Head of Yerevan city department N.Nazaryan dated on February 26 and addressed to Zarouhi Postanjian was received on March 9.
The lawyer noted that the decision of N.Nazaryan on sending the Deputy's reports on crimes to the appropriate bodies was adopted four months later, and does not correspond to the provisions of the RA Criminal Procedure Code.
The decision refers to a provision in the law, which says only about search or other activities at the place of crime, and the lawyer applied to the court with additional protest-application regarding this.
It demands that the decision of 26.02.10 of the RA Police Head of Yerevan city department N.Nazaryan be annulled and N.Nazaryan be obliged to implement the RA Criminal Procedure Code, 181 Article, Point 1, specifically, adopt decisions on opening criminal cases.
RA Deputy Zarouhi Postanjian announced that the Head of Police of Yerevan city has to open criminal cases against the reported by her crimes and only then, if there is a necessity, to send it to appropriate bodies.
The representative of Yerevan city Head of Police N.Nazaryan requested the court that it give him time to familiarize with the protest application. The court satisfied the request and postponed the session without mentioning the next session' date and time.
