The court has examined both the prosecutors' and the attorneys' appeals

On March 3 the Court of Appeal has examined the appeals for the Haykakan Zhamanak editor-in-chief Nikol Pashinyan's case. The court has examined both the prosecutors' and the attorneys' appeals.

On January 19 the Kentron and Nork-Marash general jurisdiction court sentenced Nikol Pashinyan to 7 years of imprisonment returning him guilty by Part 1 of Article 225 of Criminal Code and acquitting of other charges by Part 1 of Article 316. Prosecutors appeal the acquittal verdict demanding to overturn it, and attorneys, on the contrary, demand an acquittal verdict.
