Meeting with Aris Nalci

With the invitation of the Civil Society Institute, on May 21th Aris Nalci, the executive editor of Agos newspaper, had meeting with youth to discuss recent political developments on Turkish-Armenian relations and its impact on the Armenian community in Istanbul. Situation of the Armenian community; structure of Armenian schools, problems concerning curriculum textbooks of the Armenian language; protocols and how they were perceived in Turkey and Aris Nalci's objective views regarding the protocols were discussed. Mr. Nalci stressed that the dissemination of wrong and/or limited information in both societies results in formation of negative attitude and understanding towards each other.
