On February 26th a film-screening was organized in Civil Society Institute. "One day of Life" series consists of six films and each of them tells about the life of a deputy of the parliament, a taxi driver, a disabled person, a barman, or a gardener living in Yerevan and London, and also about garbage collection in both cities.
On February 25th Civil Society Institute organized a meeting with experts by the initiation of Dessislava Roussanova, the representative of Eurasia Department of International Alert. Experts from Nagorno-Karabagh also participated in the meeting.
On February 13th Civil Society Institute organized a meeting with guests from Moldova; Daria Mandzyuk, “Центр КОНТАКТ” organization and Vitali Cirhana, Institute of Study in Development “Millenium”.
On February 11th was organized a film screening in Civil Society Institute office. "Inseparable island. Cyprus conflict" is a documental film and describing the historical details of Cyprus conflict, the current situation, and also includes interesting interviews with the Greeks and Turks inhabitants of the island.
On January 21 and 22, Civil Society Institute organized a seminar, which topic was "Social Conflicts and Media". During two days the participants learned about the essence of conflict, the stages of conflict escalation, and methods of conflict transformation by Friedrich Glasl's thesis. As well as they discussed and analyzed some articles from newspapers.
